Hello

Well, I tried doing this in a notebook, and it sort of wound down. I'm hoping it'll be easier online. No one can read this, so I don't know why I bother with the explanation. Maybe if I commit suicide people can hack into my stuff and read this and cry. Not that I want that to happen.

This is a place for me to be shallow and not be criticized about it. Or judged. Or characterized. Or grouped. I can say I want things and comment sympathetically. I can say I like things and everyone else will like it too. This is my little world. No one else can see it. Ever.

This blog will probably focus mainly on kpop. Or just pop really. Modern culture. There will also be a certain attraction to technology.

This is my little secret database. A notebook didn't work out. I can add pictures here.

Here's my bad word list.

Acceptable:
-Crap
-Frig (freaking, etc.)
-Bitch (what's a synonym for that?)
-Badass

Unacceptable:
-Fuck
-Shit
-Ass
-Fag

Although, I could change my mind at any moment and no one would care. So ha. Ha ha ha.
Here's a little Q&A about me.

Q: How do you identify with your sexuality?
A: I identify with gay, although technically I am a lesbain. Gay is a better word. I could also be bisexual, but I've decided not to call myself that, so there.

Q: Where do you go to school?
A: Um... I used to go to Inman... but then I left to go to this group homeschooling thing... it's kind of like a private school... with tutoring and independent work and stuff... but it isn't legally... so yeah

Q: Who are your friends?
A: We have Clarissa Mullig,

Emma Slutsker,

and Alex Lin.
Together with me, here:
we make a pretty good team.

I probably won't talk about them that much on this blog, though. Just so you know.

Q: When did you first get into pop?
My first real flash of pop culture came from Bat Mitzvah parties. After being pressured into dancing to Rihanna's Only Girl in the World, I became attracted to the song and would repeatedly listen to it on youtube. Occasionally Clarissa would tell me about some song or artist.
I guess I only really got into it when I saw Selena Gomez in the muppet movie and looked her up. Then I became a big fan. I still am, but there's not as much news with her as other developing kpop artists, so I might not talk about her as much.

Q: What artists do you like?
We'll get to that in another post.

Q: How did you get into kpop?
I was youtube scanning Yuna Kim, the extremely beautiful, talented ice skater who won both the world championships in 2009 and the Olympics in 2010. She's in a ton of commercials for Korean stuff, and in one particular commercial, lasting over a minute, Yuna Kim went through her day (with the help of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet) on the backdrop of a very catchy song called Super Girl.
I looked this song up, and found it was by a group called Sistar.
I assumed this song had been taken elsewhere and searched for a music video, but in fact it was created for this particular commercial. It's not on iTunes, which is annoying. Yuna Kim sings in it too. She's a singer like that now.

Q: Who's your favorite kpop person?
Jiyeon. Jiyeonjiyeonjiyeon. We'll get to that later.

I suppose that's all for now. I'm going to be posting a lot of things in weird formats, just because that is relaxing and fun for me (i.e. Charts, graphs, etc.)
So don't be alarmed!
I'll go ahead and move on now. Bye!
