Merry Christmas from our Favorite Celebs

It's really sweet that all these kpop people take the time to wish us lower folk their best on this hugely celebrated holiday. I have a large degree of christmas wanting right now. Sigh. It's not just because everyone else is celebrating it. It just seems like such a fun, cozy thing to do. Christmas tree. Presents in the morning, waiting for you all at once. Cookies. Friends. Family. Dad not being sad and lonely.
Maybe next year we could celebrate Christmas.

Anyways, tumblr and twitter are roiling with tweets and pictures and instagrams of celebrities in reindeer ears and Santa hats and whatnot. Really cute. Here are some of my favorite christmas pics all through the ages.

Ailee is one of the beautiful divas of Korea, who I encountered through Dream High 2 (Ailee was in the group HershE with Jiyeon and Hyorin).
She's a rookie. Only became an official pop star this year.

AND SHE IS THE MOST AWESOMEST PERSON EVER AAAAH

I am LIVE STREAMING a video chat with her NOW. RIGHT FREAKING NOW SHE'S TALKING SOMEWHERE TO ME AAAAAAAAAAH.

She is such a beautiful wonderful down-to-earth person. She's just so amazing. She was born in America and followed her dreams to Korea, starting her singing career at 15 years old. She's sweet and funny and really in touch.

AND SHE SPEAKS FLUENT ENGLISH AND I AM HAVING AN AILEE OVERLOAD!!!

One person asked her if she had a Jamaican accent. Um, what?

One person asked her if she ever wanted to be in an idol group. She said yes because in the waiting room the groups are all together and stuff, but she's all alone in the car and stuff.

One person asked her to say Happy Birthday to their brother Bruce. She grinned and was all "Happy birthday BRUCE!" So funny.

She wrote her new song, I Will Show You, in English originally. Not meant to rhyme or anything. Just because she thought it was something to relate to. That makes me happy. I want to gush about her to Clarissa because she is amazing, but she'll probably be like "Oh, kpop", even though Ailee isn't really kpop style. Her songs are more of an American style anyways. And she writes her songs. In english. And she's not in a group. And she speaks fluent korean.

She learned Korean from her parents back in America. She went for a year in Korea in second grade.

Rrrgh, allkpop signal is sucking. Ailee is all worried.
